I would not recommend this campground to anyone, ever.FLORIDA IS OPEN AND CONTINUES TO BE THE BEST PLACE TO CAMP. It is not at all like the website represents. The place is run down and sites are on top of each other. We booked five nights and checked out after the first night mainly because we didn’t fit. No campfires, No this, No that, No fun at all. In the packet of policies I think most sentences started with the word NO. Upon check in we were told No swimming after dark, No open containers, No food or drinks at the pool except plastic water bottles and there should be nothing in the bottles but water. It is mostly permanent residents in fifth wheels and travel trailers. Left two voicemails that were never returned. We got to our site at 5pm, called to get a larger site, but they had already closed. The loud sounds it made scared us as we thought something was going wrong with our unit. When we pulled into our site our coach cracked the already-cracking concrete several times. It was too short and there was no room for our trailer or car. Our site was not intended for a motorcoach. There was an incredibly sharp turn on a really narrow road headed to our site. The roads going in barely fit our coach and towed car. Very disappointed about the answers management had about my concerns.… Take your money other places that are honest about what you are spending your money on. After explaining that’s his problem and something should be fixed about he offered me a free night, like it wasn’t a money issue it was our family vacation was ruined. Spoke to a manger that informed me that he’s sorry I booked online that they are not affiliated with the online company. Which let me tell you is a great place to park a class A. Fifth and probably not the last disappointment was moving to the new site next to my father was located in sugar sand. After talking to someone in the office Monday I find out there’s a open spot next to my father. Forth disappointment was requesting a site next to my father and finding out he is clear across the other side of the park. Third disappointment was after fitting in my very snug site I realized my slide wouldn’t go out due to a pole in the ground for the cable, now I was parked as close to the cement slab as possible. Which was not mentioned anywhere online which is crazy in the summer time, and was the reason why we picked that site Second disappointment was checking in on a Sunday and realizing the site I was assigned wasn’t easily accessible with a class A due to the single lane road that had everyone’s trucks parked in front of there campers. ![]() The park is 0.5 miles to Lake Bess golf and close to: Other golf courses a number of lakes for fishing or boating including Lake Eloise, Lake Fox, and Lake Ruby a flea market local restaurants theaters Eagle Ridge Mall other recreational activities and other retail stores.Cypress Campground has 191 RV sites with 120 pull thru sites many of which are “Big Rig” friendly on 19 flat acres of outdoor hospitality with a full set of amenities providing continual activities during the winter months catering to seniors, while providing a family friendly balance of campers and RVers.įirst disappointment was showing up to a empty pool and under construction.
